Scouts, parents and adult leaders, please login to see more content.

Boy Scout Troop 228 is located in Berea, Ohio and charted by the United Methodist Church of Berea. We are in the Quarrylands District of the Greater Cleveland Council. Troop meetings are on Sunday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the United Methodist Church at 170 Seminary Street.

There are monthly camping trips. Recent destinations have been Camp Tuscazoar and the Warther Museum in Dover, Mohican Wilderness Campground, Camp Stigwandish, Top O’Ledges, backpacking to the Meadows in Brecksville Reservation, Buffalo Naval Park, Kelley's Island, Beaumont Scout Reservation, and Manatoc Scout Reservation.

We go to Seven Ranges Scout Reservation for summer camp. This is a week long trip beginning on a Sunday and ending on a Saturday, usually the fourth week in June.

In 2010 the Troop sent groups of older Scouts to Tinnerman Wilderness Canoe Base and the National Scout Jamboree. Older Scouts also went to the Florida Sea Base in 2009 and Adventure West Virginia in 2008.

Check out the Camp Tuscazoar photo album on the website. We had dry weather and a fun time visiting the Warther Museum. Mark Warther, the grandson of Ernst Warther, who carved exquisite replicas of locomotives, kicked off our tour of the museum.
